Mission Objective #1: Darkness to Light
Darkness to Light Mandatory Training should be completed by now!!
Contact Skipper or XO if you do not understand how to access the training! This is a requirement of National Headquarters (NHQ) in order to be an instructor/officer in the Corps. Send me an email using the form above if you have questions
Mission Objective #2: LSC USS Indianapolis Commissioning
Our second objective is to have the unit sponsor and escort the Horvath family to the commissioning of the LCS (Littoral Combat Ship) USS Indianapolis in Florida once the ship has been built.
We are trying to obtain concrete information as to the location and correct dates for this event.
LTJG Bykerk is reaching out to "Santa Claus" to see if he can help us secure transportation to and from the event.
Ensign Katischuck is working with both the USNLCC/USNSCC and the USN to identify the proper location and date/time of the event. He is also responsible for preparing an estimate/budget of expected expenditures for the event.

Mission Objective #3: Escort FC1 George Horvath to San Diego/Guam for the internment of his ashes in a burial at sea ceremony, spreading his ashes at the exact location where the USS Indianpolis CA 35 was sunk.
LTJG Bykerk, LCDR Turner are working together to create a timeline and mission goal so the next step of lining up and identifying contacts can be accomplished. We are hoping to get the entire unit to Guam to accomplish this, but a great deal of leg work still needs to be done.
